Create a calendar

Set due dates or milestones according to the deliverables in the proposal working backward form the due date. If you need items be sure to ask at the beginning (i.e. resumes, bios, LORs). Partners should also come in at the start. Be very certain you have the right registrations if any of those are required.

it takes a village

Do not expect to create a list and pass the proposal off to one soul to write refine and send. No one person will have everything they need and more eyes in review are a must.
