Established
The Rhode Island was established by Roger Williams and people who wanted to practice religions freely. This happened in 1635,because the people wanted freely follow their religion and Roger Williams who made trouble,was forced to leave Massachusetts. Then he lived with the Native Americans. At the year 1636 Roger started his own town called Providence. This town became the capital of New England Colony of the Rhode Island.
