These are rio tinto's main mining substances that they gather form all around the world.

- North america (with 35 sites)
- South america (with 6 sites)
- Australia (29 sites)
- Asia (6 sites)
- Europe and Africa (20 sites)
Rio tinto's mining sites are found all across the world but they main sites are in Western Australia, North America and Spain.
They first started out in Spain but with resources running out fast they started to expand to keep they company alive! After this they moved onward to Australia, with the underdevelopment content it was perfect for mining.
How are they changing they're ways to create a healthy environment!
Rio tinto does everything they can to minimize destruction of the environment, they seek out advice form environmental experts, they go over there pollution charts and see what they can do to minimize this! They look for cleaner ways to export materials and smelt them. They also try and find news ways of mining to reduce habitat destruction !
Out thought on mining
Rio tinto does a lot of good but there is always a negative effect, with so many sites and all the pollution each one creates is deadly! They always looking for new ways and hopefully our future in mining becomes healthier !
What are some advantages and disadvantages!
It offers employment and produces Jewelry and building materials! They also find better ways of mining for a Eco friendly furture! But it cause pollution, destruction of habitat and leads to a less sustainable future if not done correctly.
