WOMEN'S RIGHTS BEFORE SHARIA LAW

  • The right to own a business
  • The right to receive an education
  • The right to inherit land
  • The right to divorce their husband

Women got less rights under the sharia law but in the Islamic point of view the smaller amount of rights women had the more protected they were.
