BOSTON TEA PARTY

• The tea party became an iconic event
• The party was a key event in the growth of the American Revelution
• They boarderd ships and threw ships into the boston harbor
• American Indians destoryed the shipment of tea sent from an East India company

• Colonists in Phidalphia and New York turned the Tea ships back to britin.
• In Charlston the cargo was left to rot on the rocks.
• The direct sell of the tea had Orders To cut bussness Of Merchants.
• East Indian company was burdend with 18 million pounds of unsold tea.

INTOLERABLE ACT

• The name given by american patriots to five laws adopted by parliament.
• Four of these laws were passed to punish people.
• The outcome was the first continental congress
• Other acts changed the royal charter of Massachusetts.

QUEBEC ACT

• British Parliament to institute a permanent administration in Canada replacing government
• This was in 1763
• It gave French Canadians religious freedom and civil law
• This was considerd an intolerable act

CONINENTAL CONGRESS

• September 26,1774 to October 26,1774 the first congress meet.
• Virginas delagation was made up men of america.
• The plan was considerd to be very attractive to most members.
• Elected a grand council

CONTINENTAL CONGRESS

• October 14 the Declatation and resolves established the couse of congress.
• 20th came the Association.

• Started in April 19, 1775
• Because the British Military was sent to raid the camp in Mass. And to get the food and supplies that they have.
• They were going to get the supplies that they had and leave them with absolutely nothing at all
• The people that did dare rides rode on horseback to complete missions
• Had many people doing the daring rides

• 500 people had to retreat because they were out numbered
