Roberts theory is parents have to model their children's behavior. So how the parents act, the child acts the same way.

EXAMPLES

• The parent shows the kids how to eat properly
• The parent is brushing his teeth with the boy
• These actions help the kids understand better
• By the parent brushing his teeth with the boy, the boy knows it's okay to brush his teeth
• By the mom showing them how to properly cut the meal, they know which way is safer
