In this project I have provided a description/summarization of the instruments needed for drumming and how to use them.

Cymbals-used for quarter notes and/or half notes. With the exception of the hi-hat, which can be used for 8th or 16th notes.

The snare drum is typically hit at a steady quarter note or half note pace, but may be used for 16th notes every now-and-then.

The kick drum is used for a steady beat throughout the whole song. Quarter notes, half, 8th, (now need a double-bass pedal) 16th.

Toms are used for when you want to hit lower notes (lower than the snare), but not as low as the kick drum.

Cajon (kay-honn). Basically a box, used for acoustic sessions. Notes and pitch vary on where and how hard you hit it.

I think I have covered just about everything I can TELL you all. Sadly, I do not own a drum-kit and Mr. Leavell probably wont let me use his. Thank you for your time.
