HIS CHILDHOOD

  • His father was a novelist
  • He was the fifth child in his family
  • His mothers name was Johanna Christiane schnabl
  • Fathers name was August Schumann.

HIS LIFE

  • He lived in Zwickaw, kingdom of saxony.
  • He composted in the years of 1830-1850
  • He played classical/romantic music on the piano
  • He was emitted into an insane asylum in 1854.
  • He broke his hand while studying a way to make his hand reach more notes.

  • He married Clara on September 12 1814
  • He and his wife had 8 children.

LATER LIFE

  • He died in Endenicha, Bonn Germany.
  • He was admitted into a asylum in 1854
  • When Robert was committed into the asylum his good friend Brahms helped take care of Clara and there children.

  • He started creating music at the age of 6
  • He meet Clara when he played piano because her father was his piano teacher.

  • When Clara was 18, Robert asked her father for her hand in marriage and he disapproved, Clara and Robert went to court to sue him and get married.

HIS SIBLINGS

  • His siblings names were Emilie, Carl, Jules, and Edward Schumann.

  • He unfortunately died on July, 9th 1856
  • He was buried at the cemetery of Bonn.
