Firexplo provides consultation on industrial and other special fire and explosion hazards and incident investigations.
Professor Zalosh founded Firexplo in 1998 for his consulting practice while serving as a Professor of Fire Protection Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
He is now a WPI Professor Emeritus and is devoting full time to Firexplo.
He will be teaching Industrial Fire Protection for WPI.
Principles of fire dynamics, heat transfer and thermodynamics are combined with a general knowledge of automatic detection and suppression systems to analyze fire protection requirements for generic industrial hazards.
Plus he 'wrote the book' on this topic.
