Rock the Clock!

Taking Control of Your Screen Time

Directions: Part 1

  • Think about all the different things you do on your school computer. Take your best guess and estimate about how much time you spend on each activity.
  • Draw a pie chart to represent how much time you believe you spend on each activity or website.

Directions: Part 2

  • Now check your email! If you have an email from GoGuardian, take a look at your “Browsing Breakdown” (a summary of your Chromebook usage over the last two weeks). How does it compare to the pie chart you drew?
  • If you bring your own device to school, try to find a similar report of your screen time usage.

Becoming indistractable is the most important skill for the 21st century.
