Who is a citizen?

CITIZENS

  • Anyone born in the U.S.
  • Born to citizens of the U.S.

RESIDENT ALIENS

  • Non-citizens who legally reside
  • in the U.S.
  • With certain requirements a
  • Resident alien can become a
  • Naturalized Citizen.

WHAT DO YOU THINK

  • Should Resident Aliens who pay
  • taxes and obey the gov.'s laws
  • have a say in local gov.?

HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT
