“Shall bitterly begin this fearful date
With this night's revels, and expire the term
Of a despised life closed in my breast
By some vile forfeit of untimely death.”
Romeo, Act 1, scene 4 l. 114-117

Romeo finally admits to his destiny when he says, "I defy you, stars!"
Romeo, Act 5, Scene 1, line 24

Romeo and Juliet were fated not to be together. But, killing yourself isn't cheating fate. All along that was the star-crossed lovers fate. We all might have a fate, but we get the choice to believe or not to believe in what is to come.
