Classroom Expectations:

Review classroom expectations for students and teacher.
Divide students into small groups use questions to guide groups to create their own list of expectations for the class.

Student Roles:

Introduce student roles and participation incentives.

Students can sign up to complete task/role when a helpful task needs to be done, the teacher uses the list to select a student helper.
Incentive: When a role is filled, the student earns 5 points toward a 100 point prize of a class pizza party. Points are recorded on a chart in the classroom.

Introduce Google Classroom and Explain the role it will play in the classroom and their grade.

Homework Policy

  • All homework assignments will be posted on Google Classroom
  • Use your Google Classroom Calendar to stay on track.
  • Late work will only be excepted if you make arrangments with me prior to the assignments due date.
Home Work Policy:

Go over the importance of time management, homework load and teacher and student expectations.

Quote of the Week:

Every week a "Quote of the Week" will be posted out side of classroom 612. On Fridays it will be taken down. Students who can recite the quote and the author at the beginning of class on Friday will earn 1 extra credit point on the next test.
