How Rosa Parks changed the world
Rosa parks was born in Tuskegee, Alabama on February 4th, 1913.She died at 92 in Detroit on October 24th, 2005. She lived in Tuskegee, Alabama and Pine level Alabama which was located just out of Montgomery, Alabama.
On December 18, 1932 Rosa parks married her husband Raymond Parks
How did she change the world?
In 1955 Rosa Parks changed the world by starting a bus boycott and fighting to change the rules to equal rights on the buses and public facilities.
By refusing to give up her seat to a white man on a Montgomery, Alabama, city bus, black seamstress Rosa Parks helped indicate the civil rights movement in the United States.
Today we can all use public facilities without being separated and have equal rights to do so, thanks to Rosa Parks.
