Rubella is contagious 7 days before and after the rash appears.
Symptoms appear within 16-18 days; 20% to 50% of people don't exhibit symptoms.
79% of all cases of Rubella occurred among people ages 15 and older.
Rubella is rare to catch, unless you are unvaccinated.
7% of young adults are exposed to the Rubella virus.
