THE RUSSIAN CIVIL WAR

Who:
The groups that are involved in my event are, the Bolsheviks, Russia, Russian empire , and USA.

When:
My event happened on October 1917- 1922.

Where:
The war took place in 11 countries: Ukraine,
Russian empire, Kazakhstan, Russian soviet federative,Poland, Finland, Georgia, Mongolia, Azerbaijan, Iran, and Armenia.

What:
For three years the Russian civil war was to tear apart Russia.the Bolshevik army took over many angered Russians who had been prepared to accept the provisional goverment. The USA intervened in the Russian Civil War between 1918-1920.
The USA's objectives were to secure war materials sold to the Russian government.

3 CAUSES

• Army officers angry that lenin made peace with germany.
• Chezk prisoners took control of the siberian rail way.
• Brittian, America, and france angry that russia dropped out of ww2.

3 EFFECTS

• The treaty of brest-litovsk, many people were bewildered at the terms.
• The red guard being used to impose bolshevik rule.
• National guards attempted to take control of their own lands.

Viewpoints:
-Russia's government was convicted by a circle of economic problems like labor shortages and farm shortages.

-Frotsky was delaying because he and the other Bolsheviks were convinced that a revelation would happen in Germany.

Thesis statement:
Lenin returns to Russia which that leads to the Russian civil war and that leads to Poland signing the treaty of Riga ending the war.
