PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Rwanda is a country in Africa that gained its independance in 1962 as a one-party country. When Rwanda first became a country, it had about 120,000 people living in the country (primarily Hutu's), and by 1987 statistics believed that there were at least 480,000.

Rwanda is a Republic that runs on a parliamentary system. Unfortunately, Rwanda still faces high levels of corruption and fraud.
RWANDA ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES
Music is a very important aspect in the culture of Rwanda today. Although traditional church gospels are common among the more religious demographic, many enjoy more modern music that comes from around the world. The inanga is a popular stringed instrument in which residence are likely to learn to play folk music.
Rwanda holidays are very similar to holidays in the United States. Independence day in the U.S. Is Rwanda liberation day in Rwanda. They also celebrate Christmas, new years, and labor day.
Mount Sabyinyo is an extinct volcano in Rwanda. It goes almost 12,000 feet above sea level and is a common tourist attraction, despite Rwanda not having many tourists.
The Nyaburongo river is a river that leads into the Nile found primarily in Rwanda. Many people live across this river and use it as a source of fresh water.
Lake Kivu is the largest lake to run through Rwanda. The government in Rwanda is extracting gases from the lake to produce electricity. The lake stretches some 2730 km^2.
