Etymology: The French word for sabotage meaning " ruining something by doing a clumsy job" from the word sabot

Definition: a deliberate and usually secret act that causes damage or hinders activity

SCARCITY

Etymology : Old French "stingy, scanty,scarce" spelled escars and scars

Definition : n. An insufficient amount or supply; a shortage

SWAGGER

Etymology : Scandinavian origin meaning to lurch or sway

Definition: v. To walk in a way that makes it look as if you think you are confident ; strut

SERENITY

Etymology: Latin origin from the noun serēnitās

Definition : n. the quality of being calm peaceful or untroubled

SOCIABLE

Etymology: Latin origin from sociābilis meaning close or intimate

Definition : adj. enjoying the company of others, friendly

SOMBER

Etymology: French origin from the word somber meaning dark or gloomy

Definition : adj. very serious or sad
