THEIR TRAVELS

WHY SHE MIGHT HAVE GONE ON THE EXPEDITION

  • Sacagawea might have wanted to be reunited with her tribe.
  • She might have been wanting to start a new chapter in her life.

WITHOUT SACAGAWEA...

  • Lewis and Clark would have never been able to buy horses by the Hidatsa. (This is very important for traveling)

Untitled Slide

  • Sacagawea saved documents and maps when boats capsized.
  • She brought a friendship to the English and Native Americans.

Why We Look Up to Sacagawea

Sacagawea was a very clam person. She was even nine months pregnant on the expedition. Sacagawea gave a friendship between the English and Native Americans. The Native Americans stopped hiding and the English stopped the fight. Sacagawea surely brought peace to the new country. She brought acceptance to the new world.

SACAGAWEA'S FUTURE COMES TO AN END

  • Sadly Sacagawea died at a very young age.
  • Luckily William Clark adopted her two children.

SACAGAWEA'S LEGACY WILL NEVER BE FORGOTON.

SHE LIVES ON!
