• We receive God's forgiveness
• We have to truly repent
• We receive Jesus' healing grace through absolution of priest
• Sign: Confession of sins, repentance, and absolution

ANOINTING OF THE SICK

• Unites a sick person's suffering with Jesus'
• Anointed with oil
• Receives the laying of hands
• Sign: Oil- Symbol of strength

SACRAMENTS AT THE SERVICE OF COMMUNION

MATRIMONY

• A baptized couple is united
• This is a sign of unity between Jesus and his Church
• Sign: Couple

HOLY ORDERS

• Men: Priest to serve as leaders of the community
• Men: Deacons to be reminded of our baptisimal call to serve others
• Woman: Nuns
• Sign: Laying of hands
• SIgn: Prayer by bishop for Holy Spirit to come down on them
