Story of Fortitude

  • Stephen gives a speech at Sanhedrin.
  • This speech talks about how Jesus had
  • appeared to Abraham showing He presided
  • more just than in His House. Then Moses,
  • and the Israelites disobedience to God.

Stoning of Stephen

  • After the crowd became enraged after mistakingly
  • think he was saying God would destroy there temple

My Opinion

  • The prayer to God asking him to forgive the people
  • who killed him, was an appearance of fortitude.
  • For him to be killed because of preaching to the people
  • about God, is amazing. He forgave the people for what
  • they did, and died for getting people to accept God 100%.

OPINION CONTINUED & EXTRA FACTS

  • Being a Martyr of Faith, is definitely one of the hardest
  • decisions to make and I agree with his decision because
  • he had attempted to bring more people into God's Kingdom.
  • Saint Stephen's feast day is on December 26th and the relics
  • of him are located in the Church of St. Stephen, Jerusalem.
