Background

  • The infamous Salem witch trials began during the spring of 1692, after a group of young girls in Salem Village, Massachusetts, claimed to be possessed by the devil and acused several local women of witchcraft.
  • There were plenty of , miscalculations when looking into the trials such as the bias that took place towards the other puritans

Prevention's
The impregnation of a "witch" would hold off on her execution. This way they can keep the baby because they believed that the baby didn't deserve to die, also things such as confessing even though your innocent or just fleeing Salem

Complications

  • Most of the methods of figuring out if they were a witch or not were not always right, and leaded into mis-assumptions of being a witch or the execution of a witch
  • Some of the examples include the water submerging, or the symptoms were stopped when the "witch" touched them by contact
