Sally ride explored in space in a space shuttle.
She was the first women to go in space in June 18.
Sally ride retuned earth on June 24.
Sally ride served as a president and CEO.
She beat out 1.000 other applicants for a spot in the National Aeronauticas and space.
The next year Sally Ride again served as a mission spacial list on a space shuttle flight in October .
She will allways be remembered as a pioneering astronaut who went where no other women went.
