Samson falls hopelessly in love with delilah
and she asks him how he may become weak as most men are
Samson betrays his secret after delilah asks many times
men lie in wait, and try to bind him with cord and rope.
that when she asks again, he told her his heart,
Samson breaks free easily, but he loves delilah so,
and takes scissors to his hair, cutting away his strength.
Delilah lays him across her lap,
Samson is imprisoned by the Philistines,
but soon escapes them, and kills those who stand with the Philistine kings.
Allusion- Antony and Cleopatra
- Antony is torn between love and duty,
- He shrugs away his duties,
- Only to commit suicide when he grows unhappy.
