What are the samurai
The were a class of military retainers. They were raised in to Power. Their code of honor is bushido or "the way of the warrior".
Durring the Heinz period (794-1185) the samurai were the armed supporters of wealthy land owners. Samurai roughly translates to " those who serve".

The armor was first made in china in the 4th century derring the heian period (794-1185). The japonies developed a famillyer style of armor worn by the samurai. Japanese armor was generally constructed from many small iron plates and or leather or scales and or plate of some mettle.

Supper beefy within the hierarchy you were expected to defend the land belonging to the aristocracy. If you weren't boron in to the samurai family then you were given a special helmet and some armor,two swords and a long list of what was expected of you and if you failed to do what the list said then you were disonord in eny way they wonted then you were then expected to kill your self.
