Biome/location
Sand cats live in dry sandy deserts. They can survive temperatures ranging in -5°c to 52°c. They prefer flat or undulating terrain with sparse vegetation. They avoid bare sand dunes where there is relatively little food. They are located in the Sahara, the Arabian desert, and the deserts of Iran and Pakistan.
