WHO FOUNDED THE MISSION AND WHEN?
My mission is Santa Clara de Asis and I have a bunch of facts to share about it.
The mission was founded by Father Thomas de la Pena.
He founded it on January 12, 1777
It's the eighth listed mission out of twenty one.

WHERE WAS IT LOCATED?
It's located on the Santa Clara university campus.
It's also just south of the San Jose airport.

SPECIAL QUALITIES
Santa Clara de Asis was the first California mission to honor a female saint.
The bells of mission Santa Clara have rung every night at 8:30 p.m. since 1798 by request of King Carlos IV.
The mission was destroyed three times. All of the statues in the mission church were destroyed in a fire in 1926
The mission was moved many times due to the Guadalupe River.

The condition of my mission is not the best because it has been destroyed many times.
