PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Santeria comes from West Africa. It was kept as a secret religion when they were brought to the Islands of the Caribbean during the 18th and 19th century to work as slaves by the Spanish.

The only reason the religion survived during that time is because they adopted some of the beliefs of Roman Catholicism.
