Saturn is the 6th planet from the sun. It is one of the outer planets because it is located outside of the asteroid belt. The asteroid belt is a part in space between the orbit of Mars and Jupiter. It is where most of our asteroids are located. Saturn is the 2nd largest planet in our solar system.
My planet is known for the rings that circle its equator. The rings are made up of countless particles of ice and rock that each orbit Saturn independently.
