Saturn is the 6th planet from the sun. It is one of the outer planets because it is located outside the asteroid belt. It is the 2nd largest planet in our solar system. It takes our planet 10,759 Earth days to orbit the sun. Saturn has a stronger gravity than Earth.

Saturn Temperature and Moons

Saturn's average temperature is -288° Fahrenheit.
Saturn has 62 known moons orbiting it.
A few of the biggest moons are Titan, Rhea, Iapetus and Dione.

Saturn was named after the
Roman God of agriculture and time. The reason Saturn was named Saturn was because it has the longest orbit.
