Latin quote of the week
Saturnalia
Romans celebrated a festival in December, which marked the end of harvesting, in honor of the god Saturn.
His name derives from "sator" which means "sowing and planting."
Gifts were exchanged, wax tapers kept burning, and evergreens used for decorating.
