Point: This picture shows points as the dodge balls represent

points on a line: a dot that specifies location and has no length or depth.

Line:

  • This picture represents a line because just like a line
  • the skyline extends forever in two directions:

Plane:

  • This picture shows a plane because this table is some what flat and keeps
  • continuing like a plane would.
  • A plane is a flat object that continues forever in all directions.

Collinear:

  • This picture is collinear because it has different
  • points that all in the same line.
  • Collinear: when points all lie in the same line.

Coplanar:

  • This picture is coplanar because it shows different lines
  • all in the same plane.
  • Coplanar: lines or points all lying in the same plane.

Line Segment

  • This picture shows logs which are line segments
  • because they all are a line that are between their end points.

Congruent:

  • The helicopter blades are congruent because they are all
  • the same.
  • Congruent: the same shape and size.

Midpoint:

  • The picture represents a midpoint because the basketballs court's
  • midpoint the spot in the middle of court.
  • Midpoint: the point halfway in between the end points.

Right Angle:

  • This picture represents a right angle because both post have
  • a right angle.
  • Right angle: An angled formed from the intersection of two strait lines
  • that form a 90 degrees angle.

Acute Angle:

  • This picture represents an acute angle because the kite
  • has an acute angle.
  • Acute Angle: an angle that is smaller than a right angle.
