SCHOOL SMART

ELISIA FELLOW: KEYSTONE

  • The relevancy is not always found only in the subject matter or content.
  • The value can be found in participating to learn skills that can be used later in life.

BOREDOM

  • The faster you're thinking, the more prone you are to boredom.
  • Boredom is easier to control when it is in the earlier stages.

PROCRASTINATION

  • It may feel good in the moment, but you still have to do it later.
  • There is more stress when you put it off.
  • Motivation comes in the doing.

LISTENING

  • You can't listen properly if you are distracted by something else.
  • A part of actually listening is actively listening.
  • When you are in the zone, you have nothing to distract you from what is happening.
