Boredom
When you are bored you aren't focused, boredom is a big cause of not taking notes or listening.
Procrastination
Procrastination is when you try to feed your boredom by doing something other than what your supposed to in class.
Listening
Listening in class will help you the most, when you listen you understand what you need to do and you take better notes, listening can result in you getting a better grade and potentially becoming a top 20.
