Perception Drawings

These drawings are when artists draw something from the world around them and made it look like it is real. In the time of the Renaissance this method was a major part for the desire to make realistic pictures.

"I'm The Map"

A map is a representation of a 3D space. There can be many different kinds of maps, weather maps, flight maps, travel maps and more.

Features of A Map

Maps can use a set of points, lines, and areas using many features like size, shape, value, texture, pattern, color, and orientation.

Some Maps and What They Do

Road Maps – Show roadways and physical boundaries.
Topographic Maps – Have contour lines that show elevation.
Aeronautical Maps – Have information about flight paths.

Concept Maps, there are several kinds of concept maps Some examples are...
Spider map-Is organized by placing the central theme in the center of the map
The hierarchy concept map presents information in a descending order of importance.
Flowchart concept map that organizes information in a linear format.

Gene Map –Shows locations of specific genes in DNA
Floor Plan – Shows rooms in a building.

Photography and Television

Some of the most advanced technology of it's time was photography because now with a simple device people could capture an event and always have it. It got even better with moving pictures which eventually turned into movies and television.
