REPRESENTS A GROUP OF RARE, SOMETIMES FATAL, GENETIC DISORDERS CHARACTERIZED BY LITTLE OR NO IMMUNE RESPONSE.
ALSO KNOWN AS "BUBBLE BOY DISEASE"

IT HAPPENS EXCLUSIVELY IN MALES

IN BOYS WHO ARE LINKED WITH X CHROMASOMES


(SCID), EFFECTS THE PERSON WHO HAS IT, AND EVERYONE ELSE AROUND THEM

SYMPTOMS:

CHRONIC DIRRIA, SKIN RASHES, AND GROWING MORE SLOWLY

TREATMENTS:
BONE MARROW TRANSPLANTS, MOST ARE SUSPECTED SEEING THAT THEY ARE WITHIN THE FIRST 3 MONTHS FROM BIRTH.
