Why does your body need water?

Your body needs water to keep a normal temperature and the water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements.

Other info about water: water is in every cell, tissue and organ in your body. You lose tiny amounts of water when you exhale.

FOOD THAT CONTAIN PROTEIN

  • Turkey/chicken Brest, fish(tuna, Salomon, halibut)
  • Cheese(non-fat mozzarella), pork loin
  • Lean beef and veal(low fat), tofu
  • Beans(mature soy beans), eggs(especially egg whites
  • Yogurt, milk, soy milk, nuts and seeds

Why does your body need protein?

Your body needs protein in order to grow. If you lack protein over time your body processes will slow down and eventually effect your over all health.

Other info about protein: According to Gordon Wardlaw and Anne Smith, protein makes up 17% of your body weight. Eating too much protein does not increase growth and protein synthesis.
