SOLUBLE

A substances that is able to dissolve.

Insoluble

A substance that is unable to dissolve.

Solvent

A substance that another substance can dissolve in. A universal solvent is water.

SOLUTE

A SUBSTANCE THAT CAN DISSOLVE INTO ANOTHER SUBSTANCE. SUGAR DISSOLVES INTO WATER. THE SUBSTANCE THAT IS BEING DISSOLVED. I

SOLUTION

A solute and a solvent combined to make a homogeneous solution.

HOMOGENEOUS

Well mixed substance (s).

HETEROGENEOUS

Not well mixed substance (s).

ATOM

The building blocks of matter/element.

MOLECULE

Two or more substances chemically combined/ compound.

DISSOLVE

To make a solution with a liquid by dissolving solute(s) in a solvent. Potassium Per Magnate=solute Water=solvent

SATURATED SOLUTION

A solution that can't hold any more solute.

SOLUBILITY

The amount of solute that will dissolve in a given volume of solvent.

MIXTURE

A combination of substances to form a new substance.
