• A negatively charged particle located outside an atoms nucleus
• Ex: An atom has electrons

• A fixed point around which a lever rotates
• Ex: A lever has a fulcrum

• A respiratory organ that filters oxygen dissolved water
• A fish has gills

• Layered lumps or balls of ive that fall from clouda
