Dogwood
(Cornus)
The dog wood is a tree with red berries and a red colored bark. They live in areas that are moist but well drained. Chipmunks,bear,mice,gray fox,and beaver eat the dogwood.

The dogwood has white beautiful flowers. It adapted into living in hot areas. An interesting fact is the Europeans found the plant and called it houndwood.

Dogwoods use for people is food,medicine,pain, and fevers. The bark contains medicinal value.

Cranberry Bush
(Viburnum pulus)
Cranberry bushes are tall bushes with berries known to the region as cranberries
They grow in grassy tundra areas. Moose,bears,mice,red deer, and squirrels eat cranberry bushes.

Fireweed.

The Fireweed is a pink or purple flower. It’s grows in grassy tundra areas. Bees,goats,birds,cattle, and people eats fireweed.

Lupin
(Lupinus)
Purple flowers grows up to 4.92 ft tall. The lupin grows in tundra areas. Wood lice slugs,and snails eat lupin.

The lupin adapted into living along roads and in sandy areas. Peoples use for them is to eat them. (Some people) an interesting fact is that Egyptians ate them to gain some sort of super power.

Salmon berry.
(Rubus spectabilis)
The salmon berry is a orange red berry with long thick stems. They grow in tundra areas. Bears,rabbits,caribou,and deer eat them.

People use the salmon berry for medicine and for food. The salmon berry has more than 5 names.

Thimble berry
(Rubus parviflorus)
Looks like a thimble. Red tart and has a flower.
Quail,grouse,partridge,thrushes, thrashes,and touhees eat the thimbleberry.

People use thimbleberries as food. The thimbleberry is found in forests or woods. The adapted to living on the Rocky Mountains.
Look like a raspberry but tart and orange and smaller.

Yarrow
(Achillea millefollium)
The yarrow plant goes up to 1-3 ft tall. The yarrow plants have white flowers and sharp teeth like leaves. Dry sandy areas is where you will find this plant.

Caribou,moose,insects eat the yarrow plant.
Humans use this plant for nosebleeds,fevers,teas,poultice, and acne. They adapted into sandy areas.
Hecelies legend says his mom dipped him in yarrow to gain powers

Scorpion grasses
(Mysotis scorpioides)
The scorpion grass plant is blue or purple and is 1 cm tall. Grows in mois areas.

Larve, Lepidoptera, and insects eat this plant.
People use it as medicine,lung problems,and nosebleeds. Adapted into wetlands. They are native to Dutch and New Zealand too.

They are slim pink strange looking plants. Grow in meadows.

Butterflies,and humming birds eat the plant. Women use that plants for menstral cycles,food,and medication. They adapted into desert areas. You can overdose on the plant.

Water lily
(Nymphaea)
Fragrant white water flowers. Found in wet ponds and lakes. Turtles,aquatic beetles,beavers,deer,duck,and grass carp eat the plant.
