Dictionary: The Energy of a body or a system that is respectful to the position of the body.
Our Definition: Energy that is stored and ready to be released.
Sentence: As I was warming up, my potential energy was growing bigger.

Dictionary: The energy of a body or a system with respect to the motion.
Our Definition: Potential energy being released changing into the main power source of the moving object.
Sentence: As I was running down the hill, I felt my Kinetic Energy taking over.

Dictionary: Mechanical energy is the sum of Potential and Kinetic energy.
Our Definition: Kinetic and Potential energy combined to make Mechanical energy.
