PRESENTATION OUTLINE
WILL ALL THE MILK CHANGE COLOUR OR WILL IT JUST CHANGE BITS AT A TIME?
HYPOTHESIS
I think when I put the cotton swab in with all the ingredients it will suck up all the colour and shoot it out into the milk.
MATERIALS
- A dinner bowl
- A drop of each food dye colour
- Dishwashing detergent (10 millileters)
- 1 cotton swab
- Milk (about 250ml)
METHOD
- First place the milk in the plate untill it covers the bottom
- Second place a drop of each colour into the centre of the plate
- Third get the cotton swap and tip some dishwashing detergent on the very tip
- Fourth dip the soapy end of the cotton swab into the milk
- Then sit back and watch the show
RESULT
As we put the cotton swab with the soap into the milk the colour instantly started moving around and making the milk rainbow colours.
CONCLUSION
QUESTION
When we put the cotton swab in it didn't change all the milk into one solid colour.
CONCLUSION
HYPOTHESIS
My hopthesis's was incorrect because we put the cotton swab in it just started to move the colour around it didn't suck up the colour and spit it out.
CONCLUSION
The science behind colour changing milk:
The ingredients inside milk are sensitive to changes in the mixture and when you add the dishwashing detergent the solution changes and the food dye makes it possible to see the invisible reaction.
