  • Differences- mammals are the only group that has fur.
  • Differences- mammals are the only group that has baby that come out as the same shape and form as their mothers

EXTRA FACTS ON THE INDIAN RINO

THE INDIAN RINO IS ALMOST EXTINCT AND IS ON A LIST CALLED (EDGE)
Currently many different rhinos are extinct such as the black rhino, Indian rhino (as listed), the white rhino, and the great one horned rhino, they all are endangered.

THE REASONING

THE BIGGEST REASON FOR BLACK RHINOS GOING EXTINCT ARE....

1. POACHERS

  • Poachers harvest the horns off of rhinos
  • The horn is used to be ground up into powder to then be used for medicine
  • The horn is worth a lot of money in Asia and is a new cult.
  • The medicine the rhino horn created supposedly cures nose bleeding, and coughing

THE INDIAN RINO IS LOCATED IN THE NORTHERN PART OF INDIA

  • The only vertebrate with feathers
  • Large chest muscles
  • Beak
  • Young hatch from eggs
  • Warm-blooded

  • Feathers- a bird uses it's feathers to keep warm when the weather changes
  • Wings- has the ability to fly away from land predators.
