ENERGY THROUGH A SYSTEM

A solar panel is on the roof of someone's house getting direct light from the sun( 1.solar energy ) which turns the energy from the sun into electrical energy. (2. Electrical energy)

The electrical energy is used to power a stove top (3. thermal energy) and a electric fire place. The stove top is boiling water caused by thermal energy ( 4. sound energy because you hear the water boil.) The fire is warming a young boy ( 5. this is radiation, electromagnetic energy)

The boiling water is used to cook hot dogs which are fed to a young boy ( 6. Chemical energy) who then goes out and runs a mile ( 7. mechanical, because the energy consumed had the potential to be used then was used as kinetic.)

He still has some energy left though so he goes and throws a ball with his dad. When the kid throughs the ball gravity eventually pulls it down( 8. Gravitational energy.)
