6.
EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN
We tested 4 kinds of water: salt, sugar, carbonated and tap
We recorded how tall the plants grew and how much growth there was
We obeserved the data once every week
7.
DATA/OBSERVATIONS
Week 1:
Tap water - 1 and 1/2 inches
Carbonated- 1 and 1/2 inches
Sugar- 1 inch
Salt- did not grow
8.
DATA/ OBSERVATIONS
Week 2:
Tap- 2 and 1/2 inches
Carbonated- 1 and 1/2 inches
Sugar- 1 and 1/2 inches
Salt- no growth
9.
DATA/ OBSERVATIONS
Week 3
Tap- 4 inches
Carbonated- 2 and 1/2 inches
Sugar- 4 inches
Salt- no growth
10.
DATA
Week 4:
Carbonated- 5 and 3/4 inches
Tap- 6 and 1/4 inches
Sugar- 5 and 1/2 inches
Salt- 1/2 inches
11.
DATA/ OBSERVATIONS
By Week 5:
tap and carbonated water- 7 and 1/2 inches
