HOW WAS THE DEAD SEA FORMED?

So imagine an earthquake. Your typical earthquake shifts the plate upwards usually making a mountain or something, but in the dead seas case, the plates shifted down creating very deep bowl like shape. Water then flooded from the Mediterranean into the bowl like concave.

Minerals of the country side gets baked making it 10 times as salty than oceans

WHY DO THINGS FLOAT IN THE DEAD SEA

The density of the salt of the Dead Sea is 1.24 kg/li which makes it easier to float. Because of this it is not just walk in and float like you might think.
