  • How long it would take for a tennis ball to hit the ground from different heights.

INDEPENDENT & DEPENDENT VARIABLES

  • Distance is the dependent
  • Time is independent

PROCEDURE

  • Dropped from different heights starting at 3feet all the way to 1/2foot

DATA

  • 3ft = .33seconds
  • 2 1/2ft = .23seconds
  • 2ft = .18seconds
  • 1 1/2ft = .16seconds
  • 1ft = .15seconds
  • 1/2ft = .13seconds

CONCLUSION

  • After testing it we saw that it's quicker it hit the ground faster.
