Secret of the Andes takes place
The main character is a boy named Cusi. He was taken in by an old man named Chuto when he was a baby. Chuto is a llama farmer that raises Cusi as if he were his own son.
After finding a pair of golden sandals Chuto thinks that Cusi is ready to go on a search for his true family.
I like the moral of the story which is who you love and who loves you is your true family. It doesn't have to be just the family you were born into.
