  • Most of Latin America is located in the tropics
  • Between the Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn
  • Warm temperatures.
  • Some areas are dry, some are very wet.
  • Some areas have a lot of tourism.

TROPICAL CLIMATE

  • A relatively wet- warm climate.
  • Rain forests cover parts of the region.
  • Rain forests have canopies of leaves, which shelters the ground.
  • Tropical Dry extends over middle America, hot with little rain.
  • Hurricane season is from June to November.
