Food

  • The women harvested the crops, corn, beans, and squash
  • The men hunted deer,cwild turkey, rabbits, turtles, and aligators

Daily Life

  • The men hunted and lead the billage as the chief
  • The women worked the farm, took care of the children and cooked
  • The children paly around whith eachother, help around the house, and go hunting and fishing with thier father

Houses

  • Chiekees
  • Made of wood plaster and palmetto fiber
  • When pushed into the everglades built stilts on thier houses to keep water out

Weapons

  • The Seminole used bows and arrows and tomahawks for war
  • In 1700's they also fought with guns

Spiritual Beliefs

  • The Green Corn Dance
  • The Black Drink
  • Scratching
  • All of these are believed to clense there body and spirit

Siminole

  • The Siminole welcomed runaway slaves
  • They were treated diffrent but better than the Americans did
  • If the slave married a Siminole women or man, they became part of the clan
